Language Requirements in English

The candidates' English language proficiency must be tested using the English language criteria.

IELTS (International English Language Testing system)

IDP administers the IELTS English Language Proficiency Test, which is a requirement for entrance to UK universities.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

The TOEFL is a language exam used to gauge a non-English speaker's proficiency in the language. Undergraduate programmes must have a TOEFL score of 80, while graduate programmes demand a score of 90. (Internet based).

There are some exceptions for students who have English as their primary language of instruction and who obtained a score of at least 70%.

Bachelor's Degree Program

1.A grade point average of at least 60 is needed for the humanities programme.
2.For programmes in science, engineering, and business, a percentage of at least 70 is necessary.
3.Students with second-class degrees may also be considered by several universities.
4.Students who have more training and experience are given an edge when applying to undergraduate programmes.
5.Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Post Graduate Programs

1.Percentage of 60 and above in Undergraduate studies.
2.For MBA an upper second class degree required with three years of experience preferably.
3.Some Universities require GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) scores for MBA programs and score of 600 and above are considered eligible. The students should have completed 25 years of age.

Regarding Medical Programs

1. The Bio Medical Admission Test (BMAT) or MSAT (Medical Schools Admission Test) scores are necessary, as is at least an upper second class degree.
2. A 7 overall on the IELTS is needed. Most universities favour applicants with backgrounds in the life sciences or the health sciences. High-achieving students in the arts who desire to study medicine can enrol in one-year pre-medical programmes.
